Today I am grateful for:
Warm temperatures.
It is fun to see our little goat Brownie shedding. She has a very long undercoat, almost like wool, and it is sticking out all over her like a chick that is half done with it's baby fluff.
We went to go see River, and it was nice that the temperature was moderate. Also nice that the days are a LOT longer already, so that it doesn't feel so isolating to be riding River and it is completely dark the whole time. Now it is daylight after 6 pm.
He was focused and relaxed today, and he did well with our groundwork/Liberty. For our riding today I worked on the pole picking game, because R wants to do a little fun class with it.
We picked up my Sweetie's car on the way home as the window has been replaced.
WE watched "Ford vs. Ferrarri", and it was a really good movie. You don't even really have to be a huge car buff to enjoy it.
Today I learned a bit about cars, because of the movie we watched. That the events in the movie are how the Ford GT40 was commissioned to be designed by Carroll Shelby (driver/designer) with input from driver Ken Miles specifically for endurance driving/racing so that they could beat Ferrari in the 24 hour long annual race in Le Mans, France.
Then I made the connection that another sports car, the Shelby Cobra, was also designed by Carroll Shelby in the '60's.
Here is a picture of River and I in our line driving lesson from earlier this week.
