(no subject)
*Sigh* Just got the next lot of moduals for my son's IT traineeship. Two, ten trillion page text books (well it feels like that). I'm so worn out and first assignment must be in in two weeks. That means reading it all with him, explaining it in ways he understands, testing he knows what it all means, then guiding him through the assignment questions, all while home schooling three other kids with learning problems.
I feel like a mean mother for dreaming of just one weekend free of school or college work. It will be worth all the work when he finally graduates, but at the moment the end of next year seems so incredably far away.
On the good news front, kids got their report cards, all did well with moderate to very high passes in all subjects (except for Sam in maths, but he's getting help with special needs tutor with that)...biiiiiiig improvement from mainstream schooling where all were failing miserably. It's working YAAY!...But I'm so tired and mentally drained that I can hardly think straight *sigh again*
