Well yesterday's homecoming festivities were quite fun! Interclass games were acutally way more fun now that I'm not a freshman and can acutally yell "Middle School" thats way more fun. I sat with Jess, Kendall, Jon, Alex, and Dustin. It was soo great. We were all like yellin n' screamin. Poor Jon though. Hurt his hand during the football game against Flushing, then pulled Tug-a-war on the Sophomore team. Jess, Becca, and I spiffed up our shirts. They were pretty frickin sweet. Not the saying, that was stupid and didn't make sense, but we worked with what we had. When Jess n' I were at Becca's we walked around her subdivision, and then went to Jon's house. But anways... Colin n' Slater got into a pushy shovy fight and it was kinda scary. Cause Slater jumped over rows of bleachers. But afterwords I walked out with the Crafty Columbian Alex and Blakey. We talked for a few. The scores went as follows....
5th-Freshman
4th-Sophomores
3rd-Seniors
2nd-Staff(even though some events they automatically take second. Its gay but thats okay)
1st-Juniors...
Our floats were better though.. We took 2nd in float making, and the juniors took first. Geeze juniors kicked butt overall. Who really cares though. Moving on.......The parade was crazy fun. I wasn't nervous like last year, I just froze my butt off because we were in our t-shirts and thats all we could wear..
Our football team played excellent, 49-20 or somethin like that.. I know we had 49 but I don't know what they had. It was crazy that we couldn't have played like that the whole time. We had to play post game, because the homecoming court assembly was during half time and then the pom squad did their routine. No one stayed to watch us play which was fine. It was our final runthrough before competition today. The football players didn't have enough decencey however to stay off the field during our performance, but what do you expect? Patty B is like the coolest kid ever. I saw him when Kendall n' I were goin to the bathroom so I could put my Under Armour. I held his pizza while he went potty. Then he waited in line for me to get my hot chocolate. It was so awesome of him to bring it up to me. I talked to Jon the whole way after the parade. He's great.. Love that kid...
Today was WestLand John Glenn competition. When we started the morning I didn't think that our warmup or run through was very good. Everyone was nervous when we got there. I wasn't. Its just another chance we got to show people what we've got. And let me tell you, we certainly showed them. We took FIRST FRICKIN PLACE with the awards of Best General Effect and Best Music.. Hecks yes. We beat Novi and they beat us at State Finals. We totally kicked butt.
I'm headed to Brock's soccer game. Have fun at Homecoming everyone!! =)
