I also like the icons. 24 is cool, and makes me think of the superstition about the birds at the Tower of London. 38 is too adorable for words.

and thanks! I had fun playing with the black birds, and that scarecrow appeared in the search and I just had to do it! :)

The drabble is beautiful; it's a great distillation of one of the things I love best about Locke - his connection to ritual and mystism. The 'touch water' belief is new to me, but so very fitting. It's almost elegant when compared with the clutter of his other, former beliefs. I think I'm going to carry this drabble around in my pocket for a while...I like it's shape.
And...WOW!!!!!!
It's a blackbird convention! I don't know which one to upload first. Well... prolly teh shiny one, since I just received so many.
I'm so conflicted about the lovebar... [But BOY do I love that you're making me that! Thank you so much!]I'm too sleepy now to make that decision - but *tomorrow* is another story.
Thank you so much! *smooches*

and the drabble... I didn't know about touching water, either, but I liked that is different from the other superstitions, because those are impossible to happen on the island.

I've seen in the wikipedia link here
that
When a person goes out to hunt animals in the forest, the people who stay at home may not touch oil or water with their hands during the absence of their friend; for if they did so, the hunters would all be "butter-fingered" and the prey would slip through their hands.
I had never heard that before, but it seemed fitting for our hunter ;)
