it's been a while

since i did episodes reviews but it's finale season...

honestly, I only wanted to talk about one of the two finales I watched, real quickly, but now I feel bad so have a tiny bit of spoilers for both:

Supernatural: i had a feeling Sam wouldn't finish the trials, poor thing. He really looked about to keel over. I wonder what the aborted cure will mean for him, but mostly for Crowley... will he detox and be back to his snarky self?

As for the other storyline, I didn't expect Megatron to turn like that. As much as I LOVE Amanda Tapping, and I LOVE her, her show of emotions was too little too late. Bye Naomi. Didn't care much about the angel!false-trials and Dean and Cas making up, but the scene with the angels falling was very impressive.

Now... as was suggested at the con in Rome, we're closing onto the alternate timeline where Cas had no grace anymore and planned orgies, and now that Cas has no grace... are orgies possible? just saying. I do agree with the comments that this is the least traumatizing finale for SPN ever... not a bad thing!

Chicago Fire: honestly? this is the one I wanted to talk about. First, any episode with Shae and Severide interacting is a good one. I love them so much, even though a baby story line has the potential to get old fast. But not with Shae, I don't think so. I never connected with Lori on H5O, but I now have proof it was the writing, not the actress at all.

I am not sure how I feel about Peter dumping Dawson. I wonder if he's not pre-emptively cutting her loose because he thinks she'll run to Matt as soon as it's decent to do so, and that the angry at the Boden thing was a good excuse. On the other hand, I'd be pissed to have been kept in the dark too.

The bar stuff/homage was a bit too geared to generate emotion in the viewer for me, but I loved how everyone was in awe of the Stanley Cup. LOL! it's a big deal for hockey fans, I know. We have it parade in town as much as possible (by players who win it and bring it home for a celebration).

But what I meant to talk about is how I am really pretty sure that they were setting up the new series they want to put on air, right? About the Chicago Police Department? I already love Antonio, but now they're adding all of those cops that we've seen a couple of times now (Alex from Lost! getting prettier! with her pretty partner!), and I love the blonde girl, plus Voight... smelled like an unofficial pilot to me, was that the goal? I haven't read much on it. I think it has potential! Especially with the twist, right? I mean about Voight that might be deep under cover as a dirty cop? REALLY? HE SHOT A GUY IN THE HEAD! I LOVED TO DESPISE HIM! he's so interesting, though. So yeah. I meant to flail about cops in a firemen show *nods* feel free to flail with me
