Sorry guys, I've been MIA and generally asocial lately. Mostly it's because I'm insanely busy at work and too tired to do more than skim the LJ and reblog pretties on Tumblr. Eh.
[as an aside, did you guys see RDJ as Tony for Iron Man 3 in the teaser trailer (for the actual trailer coming out tomorrow?). ASFJAGHFJAGHFAG!!! I LOVE THE SHORTER HAIR OH MY GOD!!! *MAKES GRABBY HANDS AT TONY*]
I thought I'd put here where I'm at, fandom wise. You guys know I cycle in and out of fandoms.
What I follow/participate in right now:
Teen Wolf: Definitely where my brain is at for reading and writing. Also I love that it's insanely active on AO3 - more than I can keep up with - so when I go over there to read, I look at what has been posted in the day and select with hits/kuddos and assume that if it has over 100 kuddos in less than 12 hours, it should be good! lol! (not always, but mostly. Or I filter by hit and read stuff that has nearly a thousand kuddos or more, that generally doesn't lie). Derek Hale's everything is a constant source of daydreaming for me, hot DAMN.
Avengers: the avenger!muse is almost on hold, though I still have ideas/plans for fic, and I read a superhusband or C/C fic a couple of times a week (especially if something comes up on my flist). The excitement for IM3 should kick it back into more-active-in-my-brain soon, I hope :)
H50: I still watch the show (though I sometimes fall asleep on it, oops!) and enjoy the pretty if not the plot (what plot? geez). I haven't read or written it in months and don't plan to at short term. I feel guilty when fics from friends are posted and I don't read, so here is a blanket apology, my lovelies *shame face*
Supernatural: I still watch the show, but I'm pretty detached from it and haven't read/written it significantly in years. I'm okay with that. I do enjoy it, save from Sam's hair, Oh my GOD.
The Vampire Diaries: I love it so much, but I've never really been in the fandom and I don't think that will change. I am also okay with that.
Chicago Fire: I started listening on a whim and I enjoy Uncle Mason Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer's characters prettiness/rivalry. Not tempted to check the fandom right now, but we'll see. The show itself is mostly generic.
Castle: I recorded this season up until now but haven't watched any yet. Never been in the fandom.
That's about everything, as far a current stuff goes. I don't participate in SGA anymore either, for no good reason other than I moved on even if I'll love McShep forever. I will definitely check up Games of Thrones when it comes back and I need to watch 2 seasons of White Collar(though again, those are shows-without-fandom-participation-from-me).
Projects:
marvel_bang is all done save from editing, now with fabulous art from
ladyamarra, and I can't wait to share it on publishing date!
twreversebang in progress, in collaboration with
keyweegirlie, and I'm happy about how it's shaping up (I love writing emotionally blind characters who are pining, it's a thing *grins*) :)
beacon_hills stuff on the go! ficlets and graphics and all, it's fun :)
I signed up for
mini_nanowrimo, though I brought my word count down to 500 a day (I think? I don't remember! I have to check!). It should force me to be productive. I plan writing majorly in Teen Wolf and Avengers.
I haven't signed for any Xmas exchanges. I won't, either, because I failed last year with offering stuff to the flist only and I still feel guilty about that. *sigh*
So that's about all? I really should kick my own ass and publish more stuff, because I got accustomed to getting notification emails from AO3 each and every night telling me I had had kuddos during the day. That's so nice for the ego. Last week I had 2 days without any, and it hadn't happened since early May and the Clint/Everyone story. So yeah. Note to self: get more stuff out if you want more AO3 emails ;)
