I'm still sick, unfortunately. Took the day off and rested, but sadly it doesn't seem to get better. My sinuses are acting up badly. Oh well, tomorrow is Friday so the weekend will be there soon enough!
My guitar teacher made my day, though.
D: you know, we talk about it so much, we should go see the Avengers together
Me: *grins* we totally should!
D: that'd be great!
Me: yeah, I am sure G and the boys will only want to go see it in French, and I was to go see it again in English anyway...
D: ohh, good idea!
Me: it's a deal!

You know, I had thought of asking him to go, but in the end I pay for 45 minutes of his time every week and while we have fun geeking out in the class hours, so he could have been mostly indulging me. But hey, he's the one who asked! And in fact, he's really set on the idea, because after the class (where yes, yes, I have started learning the Firefly theme song)
D: You don't forget our deal, right?
Me: I won't!
D: come May, we will Avenge - no, no, we will Assemble!
Me: *laughs* yes! (and we spend minutes talking about Chris Evans and his "Assemble" text to the cast - he knew about it - and I tell him about how they joined him in a bar after and yeah. D is most probably my platonic soulmate or something, I love the guy)
