I work in environment and it's something I take at heart. I used to work in environmental education, and if I did leave the non-profit for a job at the government and better conditions, I still volunteer for them on the administration board. They do AMAZING work.
Right now, Shell Canada has a sort of popularity contest in order to give grants for environmental projects. The group I'm with submitted one, Youth in Action for Our Rivers, and to get the 50K funding it asks for it has to be in the top 4 by October 31st.
Right now they are 5th.
I think the voting can only be done by Canadians, and I'm asking for your help, if you want (no sweat if you don't want!)

But if you register and enter the promo code "h5d-ggbhp" in the "my account" and "redeem receipts and bonus codes" today, and today only, it gives 100 votes.
After that, if you ever buy from a Shell gas station, you have a code on your receipt that also gives you bonuses and votes.
