as advised by ella_bee, I contacted Post Canada because it was not normal the envelope wasn't in the system this morning, 3 days after it was mailed. Then, suddenly, 2 hours later it was! yay! They didn't have to make a big investigation, it's just the people in Montreal who hadn't scanned it. It was delivered this afternoon, before the strike. And it seems said strike will be a lot less obstructive than I was made to believe.
so YAY! I am sure the vibes helped, for sure it helped ME. I lost sleep over this, seriously, woke up at 4:39 with the worst case scenarios rolling in my head.

now I've got to plan this trip more seriously =D
AND buy my plane tickets for New Orleans, too!
