We went to do some errand today, one being changing my box set of SG1 because too many of the disks are scratched. There is nothing more infuriating than when they just STOP to work in the middle or the end of an episode. The store didn't even blink and changed them, even if they were bought 7 months ago. Thank you, will do business again. I just hope the new ones are in better shape.
Then I went across the street to buy art supplies. Which is alway fun. I needed paper, drawing gum and the color yellow.
I checked my watch, pondered for a second and thought: Lou, you've been good. You just got a nice promotion. Surely, you deserve a totally unnecessary gift from you to you? Therefore I left my husband to pay the supplies and ran across the street again, to another store (got to love those power centers), and got myself a 32Go iPad, though not with 3G.
It's pretty, sleek in its all black protective thing I bought for it and, clutching it to my chest and cooing, I said I'd call it Steve. But then I felt bad and wondered if I should have called it Shep.
Oh, the anguish. My son thinks my dilemma is hilarious.
