hi! I miss talking to you guys, but I can't seem to find something to say.
I'm still way deep in my SGA reading binge, it's really a sickness. I think I've never been that exclusive in my reading ever. I've read a bit of Star Trek, one occasional J2 here and there, but if a pairing or a summary doesn't hit me just right, I pass. *heavy sigh* I hope it's out of my system ASAP, although you'd think with over 250 McShep and probably over 300 stories read in the fandom in like 3 months it would be better by now, but no.
I tried the writing thing this weekend, for the first time in 7 weeks. That's how the frigging muse works: 19K in a week then it flat lines. Typical.
And what did she give me? angsty Miles/Sawyer. I mean.. come on. I don't even read stuff like that! lol! it totally took me by surprise. And what do you know, I kind of like the result. I'll post it here just after, so I have it in my LJ. I had some other prompts, but I just can't get around an idea with the word "compile" so I guess it won't happen.
Oh! I finally saw Wolverine! I love Wolverine/Hugh, always have. And OMG, the sexiness of Liev S. in there is undeniable. It was my first contact with that Tylor kid, who plays Gambit... not sold, but not bad. and DOM! it was nice to see him :) and Ryan too. so yes, enjoyed the pretty, a whole lot. I was going in with low expectations and it was fine that way. Yes, I'm that shallow ;)
