Dear Diary,
It has been a very crazy month working at the hotel. There have been a number of events, and the number is only increasing- it's possibly because they now have somebody to actually coordinate these things for them. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but it's a job, and it's something I like doing, so I guess that's alright. But I really haven't been home much, and I'm missing time with Tomo and the Shuckles. :(
I'm learning an awful lot about a variety of things, though, by just being present at the events that I'm planning. It's definitely been an interesting experience so far. Stressful, but interesting. I'm going to need a lot more suits and ties for these things; things are very formal, and the hotel wants me to always look professional, even when I'm running around trying to figure out where the hors d'oeuvres disappeared to (which happened last weekend, and the run-in with the buffet table is why I need to locate a good dry-cleaners here). I haven't talked to anyone much at all lately, and I hope that everyone has been okay? :)
