I'm baaaaack!
I got tired of Diaryland. I always get tired of other journaling sites, it seems.
Shawn and I are in our new house (yay!) and we're having a cookout to celebrate my birthday on Saturday.
Yay, my birthday is tomorrow and I'll be 20 -- only one more year of having my of-age friends buying me beer. Why else would I date a guy over 21? Kidding, Shawn, I'm kidding.
Um. I went to my parents' house last night for dinner, and then we went to the vet to put Sheena to sleep. I think I cried more then than I did when my grandma died, seriously. But it's just, I loved that dog. She was such a huge part of our family. I mean, we got her when I was 11, and I fell in love with her even before then (she belonged to my cousin Mitch before). She was just old, like, 14 I think, and she had renal failure and her kidneys had completely given out so it just had to be done. And I kept her collar, how morbid is that?
But now the happy stuffs:
My daddy's visiting me at work tomorrow with flowers. That makes me happy.
Elise burned me a Ben Lee compilation CD. It's frikkin awesome.
I made a "Best of Broadway" mix that I'm so proud of. It's fantastic.

Be prepared to play plenty of Cornhole (yes, it's an actual game, and it's really fun, actually. It's like a beanbag toss thing. Our friend Kristen, she's from Cincinatti, and apparently, it's really big down there, like, people play it in bars and stuff...anyway, she made Shawn a Cornhole set for his birthday and...whatever, it's fun).
