Every day during lunch time at UF, five or six Hare Krishnas sit together in a circle to strum guitars, beat various hand drums and chant. They say it's a pleasant, meditative way to align yourself with God.
Although I don't believe in "God" per se, the Hare Krishna philosophy on playing music does ring true to me in a spiritual sense. Every now and then I discover a strumming pattern and chord progression on my acoustic guitar that I could sit and play for hours just because of the way it makes something inside me "click". Anybody know what I'm talking about?
