Well, Kendra and I decided to check out Oasis Community Church on Sunday. I'm told it's the place where all the CMU/outtatowner's go. It reminded me a lot of Mars Hill. I don't think I will return. The sermon was about The Da vinci Code. I thought I could escape all that nonsense from the church about this topic. I could not. Will I ever live in a world where I go to church and they talk about important things? I doubt it.
I think I will continue to go to The Center Vineyard. It has that close community feeling that a church should have. Oh, and prayer. Lots of prayer in that place. Which is a quality that my current church is lacking. I should not compare them but I just feel like I fit in more at The Center.
Man, I love Kendra. My church buddy. I am concerned about her, though. She's crashed. I am wondering if it is necessary to crash after Outtatown. I think it is.
