Just got home from the OC.
THE CONCERT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. =DDDDD.
I guess my favorite set hand to be Spitalfield's...mainly 'cause I knew the words to most of the songs. Heh.
Anyway. Yeah. No real need to get into a full on concert recappy thing, 'cause it was just: we got there, we waited in line, we got a spot, we watched the show, we left.
There are some key things I have to point out...
During the "we watched the show" part, Ate Leah and I bought some merch. It was hella cheap. I bought two Early November shirts and an Early November pink wristband, and a Spitalfield shirt. I bought a brown Early November shirt (it has an umbrella with some rain or something and it says the Early November on it) and a black one that's my favorite. It says "OMG! The Early November" on the front and "LOL!!" on the back. Heheh. I'll take a picture later. The Spitalfield shirt I bought is also awesome, 'cause it's PINK. Yesssss.
ALSO. Ace (from The Early November) was out at their merch table and Ate Leah got to get a picture with him!! Heheheh. I still need to send it to her (it was on my camera).
During the Early November's set I got some balls and went out into the crowd (we were actually just standing in the back on these riser-type things). It was a lot of fun and I got some pretty close up pictures of the band. I got at least ONE sQuaRe flyer to at least one member of the Early November. I'm not completely sure who it was, but I think it was Serge (sp?) who took it from my hand (he was behind this black thing separating the walkway from the stage to the backstage area place). It was really cool.
It was funny. I wish I had had the chance to listen to their cd or download some Early November songs before-hand so I could have known the words, but oh well. Heheh.
Now I want their cd. Hmph. I'll buy a copy later. I would have bought it at the merch table, but I wouldn't have been able to get the OMG shirt. Lmao.
Anyway. I'm tired and I have to be at work in six hours. I'm taking a nap. =D.
