10 days and counting...

...until I pack my bags and head down to sunny SoCal with my father...

The beginning of the summer was so boring and it seemed so long. I felt like I had nothing to do...until I got this job at Social Security. Then my whole summer flipped over and I realized that I was a lot more tired then I should be, and that keeping a consistent sleeping time is always necessary when you wake up at 6 in the morning.

So today was good times. Dominique's last day was today, so on Monday she'll be flying down to Alabama (she goes to a historically black Christian college called Oakwood College) and having good times in college. It was cool because on Tuesday and Thursday, after work, we did some major college shopping. Like, ridiculous. More so on my part, because I'll be driving down, but still, it was so much fun to go somewhere right after work! For the most part, I can definitely say I'm ready to move off. I remember last year, I was so last minute. I'd pack all of my stuff the night of moving out and driving down. Needless to say, it was one hectic night/early morning...Anywho, I think I just need to buy some things from Costco and I'll be set...for the most part, at least!

I'm kinda at a loss for words...hmmm...

OH, OK...now I know. So the details of me moving down south again...I'm leaving with my dad in the morning of Sunday, August 28th...I'm hoping we'll get there before 2pm or 3pm, but sometimes, you just never know. He told me (actually, is forcing me) that once we arrive, we're going to drop my things off and head over to our relatives' place which is a good 15 minutes away. Greeeeat. Meaning, less time to move-in, especially since the first day of class is the next day. And you know all of us guys are gonna be up all night, so it's definitely gonna be good times, even though all of us will be sleep deprived.

But before that, on Friday the 26th, Maria is coming here!! This is very exciting news, at least for me. She looked for tickets kinda late, but she told me that the cheapest flight she could find from Honolulu to Los Angeles was about $600-$800 one-way. I was like, what the feezy?! THEN she tells me if she flies from Honolulu to San Francisco, it'll only cost her $200, and then the following day, on Southwest, she'll fly from Oakland to Los Angeles for only $50. Damn you, Aloha Airlines!

WOW, this post is a lot of ranting! So much to say!

And another thing. One of my ultimate pet peeves are rude drivers. I'm gonna rant about it this one time, and that will be all...so I was backing out of my parking space at Walgreens along Richmond Parkway/San Pablo...I check both sides to see that there are no cars, and this fuckin' car comes darting behind me. I immediately looked at my rearview mirror and saw them so I braked! Basically, my car and the lady's car were at a 90-degree angle, and this fuckin' bitch (sorry, I don't mean to call strangers 'bitches,' but she was so damn rude!) has the time to stop, and give me such a dirty look. As I was backing out, they wouldn't even budge, and I just completely ignored it. I was going to go back into to the store and explain to her that rude looks like that will make people look down upon you...plus, the fact that she's twice my age and obviously less mature than me, won't help. But my grandpa needed his medication, so I opted not to. Plus, their car was so old (I mean, mine is too, but still in good condition), it wouldn't matter if I added a little dent to the multitude of dents on their car. Mannn, I am never gonna forget that face. Muthafunker...

Whew! OK, got that off my chest. SO yeah, I definitely wanna watch the 40 Year-Old Virgin! It looks so funny, especially when he gets his chest hair removed and yells Kelly Clarkson's name. Good stuff!

Allrighty...I better head off now.
