new hair

Ever since my hair soulmate Crispin Britannico traded my curly locks for better hair horizons somewhere else, my hair has been, for lack of a better term, been content with playing the field. Since then it's just been me at my mom's or my sister's salon and trying the occassional new "it parlor" from time to time. But I'm glad to say I think I've found a new favorite hairstylist again in Jinni Kim of Park Jun Salon - a Korean salon, of all places - who would have guessed? :p

The best thing about her is that she's the type of stylist that asks you what you want, suggests, and outright admits to you if there's something you like that will not look good on you. And of the three times I've gone to her she taught me a different style. I love that she's giving me more options than my usual mousse-scrunched look. First time i tried her she curled my hair and gave me a sweet curly look, the next she straightened it flat, and today turned me korean girl-band ready all within 10 minutes. A little ironing of the bangs, moving my part to the side and letting the rest of my hair fall naturally (with the help of some product) showed me how easy it is to change my style with the same hassle free cut.

Naturally this is not going to look the same tomorrow. Haha. Love it anyway. :)
