Dream #03 | Card event
Before him stands a large, ornate door, with a clock keeping perfect time above it. Try as he might, wherever this door leads, it will not let him pass. It seems firmly locked. Ryoji scratches his head in disappointment, standing back to look at the door.
Oh, hold on. There is something inscribed over the clock.
Oftentimes The Key Is No Further Than Within Yourself.
Within himself...? What was that supposed to mean?
Ryoji sighed, putting his hands in his pockets...and paused. There was something in his right pocket. He pulled it out to look at it. A black feather as long as the span of his hand, the quill cut into a simple key shape. Was this thing the key?
He slid the feather into the door and turned it slightly. There was actually a loud click from the door, and it slowly swung open...
Then there was nothing but bright, yet gentle light.

*There's a yawn from under the blankets, and a little stirring before Ryoji starts crawling out from under the covers. Him. Doesn't he look...decidedly smaller? And...and younger. 0_o About ten years younger. He sits up to rub the sleep from his eyes, not even noticing (or caring) that the Dreamberry is on.*
