Wow...been almost a month since I last posted! Sorry about that.
Let's see...the contract on the house I wrote about fell through-the appraisal came in too low and the seller wouldn't lower the price. We are under contract for another house but are afraid the same thing is going to happen, in fact, the seller has already said he will NOT lower the price. We should know something this week. I think if this one falls through, we are going to rent an apartment for a year or so. Reasons I'm totally ok with this decision are:
1) We're not responsible if something breaks
2) Will follow Dave Ramsey's advice of staying out of (more) debt
3) If we wait a year, Andy's salary will be much higher, although we run the risk of not participating in the "buyer's market" that's currently out there.
I'm actually pretty stressed with this whole situation, for more reasons than I care to go into here, basically, I'm tired of living like a transiet gypsy. I think that pretty much covers it.
