I respect my husband
There are bumper stickers or shirts that say "I Love My Wife." Which is really good. I think if I had a shirt that said "I Respect My Husband" some ladies might think I'm a little weird. I think it's natural to respect the man you choose to spend your life with. Why wouldn't you want to? Of course I love him too but it's the respect he needs and deserves, yes, along with the love.
Today wasn't an easy day for us and I can't point to a particular reason, other than we just happen to live in the same house.
But.
Today was a great day for us because despite the difficulties during the day, we're going to bed more in love than when we woke up. And I love that. That makes me smile in anticipation of our 50th wedding anniversary. You're all invited. =)
