Goodtimes
The past 4 days have actually been entertaining for me. Saturday was the C/A/T cd release party. That went over really well. Here are some cool/WTF moments from it.
One guy said he came all the way from Jacksonville for it. That's a 3hr drive from Tampa. I thought that was cool.
Some very old and very drunk woman came up to me in the dj booth. I was in the middle of mixing something so I didnt talk to her right away. I could hear here saying something but I couldnt understand her. Finally I finshed and said hello to her...
Old Drunk Woman: (mumbling something) Can you play something for me?
Me: What do you want to hear?
ODW: Play some Ministry
Me: Sorry I dont have any with me
ODW: Ok how about some Bau...(she goes blank for a min) Bauhause.
Me: Sorry I dont have any of that either. They play that kinda stuff on Friday nights. This is an ebm/Industrial night and play more current stuff.
ODW: Ok can you play some Lyle Lovett
Me:(I was speechless) We dont play that kinda music here.
ODW: Ok how about Wolfsheim.
Me: Ok no prob. Have a good night
I didnt play any of course. I just wanted her to go away. Apperently I pissed off one of the hired dancers at the club because I didnt play want she wanted. I didnt have any of it with me so she can eat it. I'll put my playlist down below.
Sunday was the house warming party we threw. It was funny. I was grilling the food for most of it but it wa funny to hear everyone going OOOOOOO!! They were watching a Ninja Warrior Marathon. People brought lots of food. Majority of it was Brats. Right now I have about 36 Brats sitting in my fridge and about 40 bottles of beer, 4-5 varities. Monday we did another party on a smaller scale since we had so much food left. We didnt really make a dent in the food or beer though so I still have alot left :)
Finally yesterday I got invited to see Dethklok live. It was the best show ive seen in a long long time. It was actually a "show" not just some band playing music. It was brutal and I highly recommend seeing them if they come in your area, just hopefully you like metal and or the show. Onto the playlist..
