Sometimes peculiar things happen and you find the need to write them down.
The other night when Maddie, Lucy and I were rehearsing for 'Fizzy Train', one of our flats toppled over onto some of our props. When we went to inspect the damage, the only thing ruined was the flat itself. It had landed on a balloon and a small box of confetti. The balloon was still intact, as was the little box of confetti which had managed to make a square shaped hole in the flat. Giant flat vs flimsy props. Flimsy props come out victorious.
Odd.
And while I'm on the topic of 'Fizzy Train', I know I'm really going to miss it when it's all over. The girls are so much fun to work with, and the play itself is just so wild and silly and enjoyable. It's not every day I get to have dinner with Jesus, draw a chalk door, save an iron from a tower and throw figs about.
"Gold! Pure comedic gold!" ;)
