Download was fantastic. I'm really glad that I went along. A big thanks to mmmarcus for doing the driving duties and for getting his ticket, as I probably would have not got mine.
Bands I/We saw
Korn : Very good. We got there late between Limp Bizkit and Korn.
Faith No More: Fantastic. Best band of the weekend. They have still got the magic.
Pendulum: Not as good as I thought they would be, but good non the less.
Marilyn Manson: Have been told he puts on a good live show, thought he was pretty poor.
Prodigy: Fantastic. 2nd best band of the weekend after Faith No More
ZZ Top: Good live stuff, but not my cup of tea musically really.
The 69 Eyes: We decided to hide from the sun in the covered stage, and these were on, nothing that special, but ok.
Therapy?: Don't really know much about them, may seem odd, but just never listened to any of their stuff. Was very impressed with the live show and was the 3rd best band I saw.
Def Leppard: Really glad I've seen these live now, great live show, good sound too.
Got very VERY drunk friday night, missed Static X because of hangover, bugger!! Didn't get drunk saturday, strange that!!
Was reading my AAT text book in the car park while we were queuing to get out of the car park. How rock and roll is that??
