Blah humbug
Been asleep most of the weekend, stupid bug now causing back ache. Lucky most of the presents are brought & some are ready for posting (job for Ed if not school today), think cards are pretty much there too. Now just need to get Ed a game & some little bits and three cat nip toys (one for sister in law Em's kittens as just mean to only give them one so they fight & two for my beasts - not that they are short of cat nip as we currently have three plants!). Sister has agreed to have her main gift in the New Year as can't get it anywhere in Bristol, stupid argos price cuts!
Meeting today to talk through two of my projects with new admin support as start new job in New Year as the powers that be have closed my section. Will be in same dept doing very similiar work (correspondence officer) which team am in is yet to be decided as ex bitch boss has kicked off. Not that she would be my line manager. Gotta love office politics.
Office do Friday. New dress (check), Dotty P came to the rescue just as I was about to give up, high shoes (check), fishnet tights (check), Christmas cheer (off to check behind the sofa as do not feel festive at all).
