2009....
The first part of 2009 was the most difficult time for me. My day job forced us to work without pay for 8 weeks over the summer. It caused a terrible financial mess that took months to recover from but somehow I survived. I went to very few clubs/events/concerts in 2009 because of this set back.
The loss of my grandfather also caused a lot of family fighting and turmoil that has not been resolved. You hear stories how families get ripped apart after someone's death. I never thought it would happen to my family but it did. Death really reveals the true evil nature of some people..
The second part of 2009 was almost like a rebirth for me. I threw myself back into my art and started selling my creations online again. Suddenly I was getting a lot of press and interviews. I did end up on Regretsy but that has been nothing but good for my sales/exposure. I also got offered all these weird side gigs. I was an extra in two horror flicks and an extra in a Law & Order episode. Now we are in 2010 and it really feels like it could be the best year of my life!
