I actually woke up at 7 a.m. this morning, and I don't have any morning shifts at work. O.O That's unprecedented. Usually, work is the only thing that can get me out of bed before ten--sometimes noon. (I'm not a morning person. Morning people are the scourge of human happiness. I should make some snarky text icons about that sometime . . .)
One of my many reasons for aspiring to be a novelist is this: I want to be nocturnal. Literally. I get most of my best ideas after midnight, and I rarely go to bed at a reasonable hour. If I could work out a career schedule to fit a nocturnal lifestyle . . . life would be awesome. Of course, that would give my eye doctor just one more reason to call me a vampire (he did it before, when I shied away from this bright blue light that BURNED LIKE FIRE), but oh, well. I'll just have to accept that, even though Twilight blew my dislike of vampires through the roof, I make a pretty convincing specimen myself.
Oh, that's right, I made icons. I'll cut my rambling short. :)
