After some deliberating, I watched the movie and re-read the book. Oddly, everything feels different on second glance at the story. Claudia baffles me much more now (I sort of understood her at first, since I often feel like a little girl the grown-ups will never take seriously). I can't quite decide if I identify with Louis or not. I can't decide if I loathe Lestat or not. I do know Tom Cruise yelling, "SHUT UP, LOUIS!" was one of the best parts of the movie. And though I thought Armand was mysterious but boring in the book, I adore Antonio Banderas as Armand. Wow, that man is compelling.

Also, I'd like all the dresses in this movie in my size, please. :)
