Moved!
Ok, so moving day and come and gone. Friday I took a personal day from work just to get the moving done. Well I start out early as planned and the weather was fair, not too cloudy, not too sunny. So I go about my plans and wait for Andy to arrive. I come here to the office to sign my lease and get my keys, do the inspection before I move in. All is good. Then go to Paula's apartment to switch vehicles with Katie. Well to make a long story short, it decided to rain most of the fucking day, just my luck. Not only that, Andy's back was hurting him so it was painful for him to help me, but he managed. I don't know what I would do without him. We worked 9 long hours Friday, mostly in the rain, by the time it stopped raining, we had a majority of the big furniture already moved over. We had to go to Wal-Mart to get my entertainment center that we had to bungee cord to Katie's truck bed because it was too long to fit in with the tail gate shut. Well, it tips over on the way over here, so we had to pull over and adjust it better. We get it here and it won't go up and around the stairs here, so we try different ways of trying to get it up the stair for 2 hours at the most before finally just taking it apart. It got a few scuff marks on it, but I'm just happy we got it up here okay.
Saturday we finished moving the little odds and ends in our cars so we could clean up the old apartment. It didn't take us very long at all and the weather improved thank goth. I had to go into work at 6pm Saturday to close up since two other CSM's called in. Not surprising, since it seems like the same ones call in all the frickin' time. It's getting old. There was some highlights of the weekend. Actually moving into my own place, which I am still in love with, I just don't think I ever wanna move again after this experience. Also spending time with Andy is always a plus, he helped out alot even though his back hurt. He fixed some yummy spaghetti Friday night before we went to bed. It was awesome and we had it again Saturday for dinner.
Sunday at work was stressful. I had two evals to do and I practically threw into it. When it was time for me to go home the weather gets really bad and management makes a code black page for all customers and associates to get to the middle of the store. The weather was pretty bad, severe thunderstorm, hail, tornado warning, the whole nine yards. I didn't panic or anything, the customers and a few associates did enough of it for me. I was calm and a little pissed because it was time for me to go home. LOL. I went to Krogers to give Andy his watch when I got off around 11:30pm. Something at Krogers made it smokey so the fire department was there checking things out and the store was closed. I hung out there for a little while talking to Andy, Erin, and Sharon until they left, then I came back home. Poor Erin was forgot about in the gas station there and hid under the small desk table they have in it. Poor thing:(. When she tried to call, they were all in the freezer already.
I have a feeling the whole month of April is gonna be like this. April showers bring May flowers! We also sprung ahead Saturday night. Tonight I've been putting things away and cleaning up. Still got alot to do, just got lazy and tired.Gonna get off here and go to bed. May go see my mother in the morning. Everyone have a good week. My birthday is right around the corner. Woo!
