The current state of affairs
Well, I sit my pre-med entrance exam on Wednesday. Which is both scary and exciting, the first concrete step in the journey along this career path.
I have a meeting with the clinal director of our unit, a very experienced consultant tomorrow so I'm going to grill him on aspects of the training and what the profession is like, the reality, not the hype.
Life certainly can't be called boring at present, lots of change, some uncertainty, but also lots of anticipation and excitement in lots of ways. A few new people around lately which always mixes things up. Been hanging out with my hairdresser more, a fabulous gay boy who doesn't know the meaning of the word reserved so that has been refreshing. Some acquaintances are becoming true friends so that's lovely also.
Once again things are looking up, and the theme has spread to many parts of my life which is really encouraging.
