lua

so my cat started pukeing on monday morning. not normal hairball puke, not too much goofing off puke, this is the kind that you dry-heave foam and bile all over what is one of the few fleeting "nice" spots on my carpet. (note: cole and her dogs plus a candle incedent caused the carpet's death) I googled it and chalked it up to recent diet changes. day 2. when i went to work all was fine. then kristin wrote me and came off as overly concerned about the frequency of this happening. i got worried referencing beth's dog ginger's death and the fact that till the end of time it will haunt me. after a few hours at work i got out and took lua to the vet.

i would like to point out the fact that i almost hate to take my cat out in public, but i learned that the vet is the last place in the world i would like to take her. she behaves well. don't mistake this for that. the problem is that nobody has ever seen a bengal in person, others don't know what she is. i love my cat, but the 5 time around you start getting aggervated repeating the same thing. i am now feeling like the "crazy cat guy".

so after a million different people entering and exiting the room i get to the vet. straight shooter. he plainly explained everything in exact terms. after some fluid exams and 20 mins of he and i discussing what it could be he told me that it sounded like indegestion. acid reflux, in a cat. she is now on over the counter human pills ($6 for a year supply) and i am now out my bike build/new spending cash and my cat has made her annual check up.

time off well spent.

*announcement: i might be in the south in a few weeks for a VERY breif period of time to put a new motor in my mother's truck. i could end up with a night free and i would like to spend it maybe at the stairs. further details later IF it goes off*
