i am so getting paid right now!!
it's the motherfucking 4th and i have nothing to do really. kinda strange, but i am enjoying these holidays without the obligations. nothing like moving 3k from everyone that you use to know. (except misty)
so i converted my allez over to a flat bar road bike. i fucking love riding it now, it feels more at home. i have taken EVERY chance i can get to find a reason to ride it lately, including yesterday. i rode towards eastlake with some point83 kids i know, then on to the CIP for a few beers and some b.s.ing until i had to meet kristin down town later. on my way there some jackass in a wrx wagon decided that he didn't feel like waiting on me to pass him (i was going faster than 25 for sure) and hit me. i managed to make it out with scuffs and scratches only. the new helmet though now has more white scratches on it from where i drug my face over his hood. best part, guy stopped long enough for me to clear the hood and my bike to hit the other side of the road and stop skidding then drove off. had i been facing the right direction i would have owned this asshole, but alas shit never works out when you are in these situations.
misty seems to be coming by today, i think we're going swimming (read: i am going to try and not drown due to the soreness) at madison beach. then tonight we are talking of heading to gassworks park for the fireworks and such.
should be interesting enough, maybe i can get a (carfree)ride in on the old allez later tonight. got to get my legs ready for the 7/7/7 and the STP.
