I know what you mean! For drugstore stuff, Revlon Colorstay worked the best, but you knew that. That liquid liner is quite dark and worked very well.
I use cream liners. They go on smoothly and look like a mix between pencil and liquid but they stay much better and you apply them similarly to liquid liners. I use MAC's gel liner. They're like $15 after tax I think, but they last several months. I've been using their gel liners since I was 18. I'm almost 20 now and only on my second pot. When they dry, they're pretty smudge proof for hours. There have been a few drug store cream liners out lately, but I haven't used any other than L'Oreal HIP. They are very pigmented and pretty much smudge proof as well but not as smooth as MAC's gel liner. Also most people hate the brush it comes with. They're cheaper than MAC and I think they come with more product as well (not that it really matters. A little goes a long way and a pot lasts so long that the product tends to dry out before I can finish it. Same goes for the MAC pots).
You could try using a primer under your makeup. I haven't tried this with eyeliner but I have used Urban Decay's Primer Potion and it works very well at holding eyeshadow, so I believe it's worth a shot. L'Oreal also has a eye primer called Decrease, which is drier than Urban Decay's but worked OK as a primer when I tried it.

I don't know if there's a Sephora or Ulta near you, but they sell their stuff there. I didn't buy the primer potion until an Ulta opened up where I live.
You can buy them on the Internet though. Urban Decay has a website and you can always look on ebay as well. I just used google and ebay and all sorts of places you can buy from came up.

Hmm, I might just order them online, that's how I got my MAC products because there wasn't a store near me that sold them, until I moved. But I think I'll just order them from the site. Thanks!

Do you know where I can get Urban Decay products? I live in Canada but I haven't seen them in any stores. Would I have to order them online?
