Experiment
I just read this description of those people whose Chinese horoscope is the pig (from myspace):
"The PIG ... THE PRISTINE PIG
The Pig is true to his goals and beliefs. Their natural simplicity makes Pigs popular and loyal - once a friend, they'll be your friends for life. Pigs can be stubborn, but they will give in for the sake of peace. A Pig is happy to share what he or she has but needs to be the one taking the initiative in giving and wants to be rewarded for it. Pigs love the truth and will try to look at things from both sides in order to find it. They can't lie, and so it is not always easy to live with them -- they tell it like it is, every time. They are full of wisdom and can discuss anything, since they have checked it all out before they speak. I'm not normally a great believer in such things. How can everyone born in the same month/year have the same characteristics? - Evolution, genes etc. surely would override that. However, I think this is an uncannily accurate description of me - apart from the full of wisdom bit. So using the scientific approach I supposedly have (and I thought of posting this before I got that connection), I'd like to see if the description is so general that everyone would think it was them, regardless of whether or not they are a pig. So my experiment is a simple one ...
