This is quite a sad story. XD For those who've already heard it before, you might like to skip this entry kthx ._. (There's a tl;dr at the bottom ._.)
So, once upon a time, s said:
1) she prides herself on not paying scalper money for stupid dorriez (...'cept for three, ...though, now four), especially not for those that're released relatively recently because there must've been a reason she's passed them up when they were released.
2) she doesn't like long-haired boys.
3) she doesn't like big noses.
4) WILLIAMS IS FUGLY.
...OMG YES, SHE SAID WILLIAMS WAS FUGLY WHEN HE WAS FIRST RELEASED.
She even saw him in the flesh resin when she went to Harajuku's Sumika last February and confirmed her observation that Williams was fugly.
And now, in a cruel(?) twist of fate, Williams ends up to be the most expensive doll she has ever bought. (Too expensive, ouch.) WRYYY.
...She does not understand. XD
So er. I think this is probably Rangetu's fault, actually? I remember looking through the dealer sites for Dolpa 17 one night in early May last year, when I came across a yukata-clad Williams, default faceup and all (and I hated his default faceup all along XD) on Rangetu's website. I think I died a little, and I don't even know why. ;_; Suddenly thought he's kinda hot, and I got annoyed at myself for thinking so. >__> Following which, I..completely died when I saw the special display for Oath of Silver Coin. The display had the prettiest default Williams EVER. ;_;
It's like. After getting Reisner, I just..had to get Williams? <-- Wtf? (No, not compulsive at all.) Seeing gorgeous repaints did not help. And it seems, 4324623985342 other people also felt this way because his price kept going steadily up after that ;_;
...I don't know how much I've cussed Williams for all this unnecessary drama. =_= (%*#F*#K*NGH#LL$@#*$WILLIAMS.) I should've continued thinking he's fugly.
Thus began the 8-month long angst.
Background: Dreamdolly-sama was Sweet Dreams Lucas, and dreamdolly-san was Williams (until he got promoted to -sama status last month). :X I was deciding whether to get Sweet Dreams Lucas or Williams, but felt that getting Williams first seemed rather disrespectful(?!) to Sweet Dreams Lucas, of whom I'd angsted over for two years? (Yes, you can call me crazy. XD)
He arrived yesterday afternoon. But I didn't get to take him out until yesterday evening AE and all. And er, ...got a mini-shock when I did. I don't know what I was expecting. XD He's got rather irregular features, unlike Lucai who's picture-perfect (to me). Individually, his features are not the best looking, but when they're all put together, ...ugh. Something about his slitty eyes, his snooty nose and his deadly sideway glance ._. Something about his irregularity...also makes him very pretty? ._.
Why, Volks, why. ;____;
So um, sinful much? I shall starve for the next (few) month(s)...
And er, no more dreamdolly-samas for a while kthxbye. Hope this doesn't become ...yet another of those famous last words, eh.

That, and er. He has his character and backstory all ready but he still needs to be named. Thinking of names is certainly my least favourite aspect of this whole dorrie thing. Srs biznez, yo. ;_;
