Mr Sleepy just came back from Shuui's on Thursday. Much thanks and love to Shuui, who's been sick and getting no rest. I love her work! I still remember her first few faceups and how much she has grown since then. <3 She needs to increase her prices. XD
Mr Sleepy is called Not-Yuki. I chose this name because I am (was?) a Furuba!Yuki fangirl I thought an ambiguous name like Yuki would strike an interesting contrast with his seme masculine!androgynous look. (No, not thinking of Chigusa from Silver Diamond at all. XD)
Yuki is Hayate's older brother, which is probably why my instructions for him sound a little similar to Hayate's? XD But I really didn't want him to end up looking like Sweet Dreams Hayate. DX ...and I'm glad he doesn't! ...or does he. D: Tried on a few fur wigs and nothing I have -- from blond to milk tea and dark brown -- seem to work well for him :\ Time to go fur wig shopping (again), I see...
Without Lucas, Sweet Dreams Lucas would not have become a (former) dreamdolly-sama. So I suppose my dreamdolliest dreamdolly-sama is still Lucas...? But I love love love SD Lucas too! It's such a pretty sculpt *_* It's still rather surreal seeing him in teh flesh resin after much angsting and pining for more than 2 years.
SD Lucas and Lucas differ in several ways, apart from the the eyes - obviously XD SD Lucas has a slightly open mouth with teeth, but Lucas' mouth is pursed. More interestingly, Yuki actually has a slightly wider face than Hayate. I wonder if it's because pureskin Lucas/Chris got their faces shaved, as compared to the older releases, and that SD Lucas was modelled after the older releases? Hayate has quite a sharp chin and generally has more chiselled features and cheekbones. His angular features become more apparent when he is placed next to an F16 (ie. Kai <3 ...last week).
...just occurred to me -- I suppose all this must sound pretty crazy to a non-Lucai fan, lol. Please do pardon the fangirliness. XD
