attempting pirate-loli.

I miss taking pictures! ...but, even as I say that, ...I was rather struggling with the composition in this lot. Composition? What composition? So er, apologies if the pictures all look the same to you?

Yo-ho-ho! Pirates ahoy!

This is what Suzu wore for the Pirates' Meet two weeks ago (of which photos I have yet to post! Someday, aye...). I was flipping through Kera, looking for inspiration on pirate-loli outfits, when I came upon a super cute Alice and the Pirates ensemble. I secretly thought Suzu'd look great in the outfit and tried to replicate it. Please forgive me for butchering AatP! Especially those who've seen the original version...!

Special guest?

Featuring Midori in her fake!BTSSB glory XD

So here they are both in handmade fake!AatP and fake!BTSSB XD
Plus nakayoshi hands, psst!

Cape-less.

Do I be seein' land?

And now, eyepatch-less, too!

Just a girl!

Before I forget, the wig is a gift from Kasita, and it is truly made of win! The colour is not something I would have picked for myself normally, but I have actually grown to like it a lot. I think I'll be looking out for red/carrot wigs from now. XD

And so, the shirt is AatP-inspired, only the original version is sleeveless. I am quite happy with the fabric I found for the pants because it's actually pinstripe and pretty! Much hate for the shirt, considering I worked on it for a week (in between work, etc.), and the frills and pintucks totally wanted my life. The pants and cape were made in one night, ...er, since I had no other choice -- the meet was the next day. XD And there goes my attempt at pirate-loli (with pants)!

Suzu is arguably the least known girl among my dolls. I think I have problems with keeping two girls of the same size (also my main problem with now-gone Papi) because I keep girls not really for their characters, but for the fact that I can make them wear frilly dresses and other assorted rubbish. As such, I don't actually have specific characters for them, unlike the boys. (I'm a fangirl?)

I struggled with whether to keep Suzu for the longest time, but couldn't let go because I am a hoarder do like the four sisters sculpt a lot. That and I brought her home myself -- I guess in a sense, that feels quite special. And now, there's no way I can pack her up and send her away with a faceup like this ._. I blame Shuui, okay?
