Mani wheels in Boudhanath: Spin them, and you send prayers into the air.
Went to Tibet...not. I just returned from Kathmandu last night.

I think Nepal's the kind of place you'd sort of love to hate and hate to love. I love it, perhaps only in retrospect, and the truth is, when I was there, I just wanted to come back home.

I spent merely one week there, but it felt like a lifetime. I feel like I'd been gone forever. Even though I'd just officially ended my internship on the Thursday before last, I can't really seem to even remember much of how it feels to be working anymore. (And there I was thinking, zomg, I can't imagine what it'd be like not to have to go to work anymore. Uh. Now I know.)

As soon as I arrived at Changi Airport, I felt like I'd never left home. It's like one of those dreams where you really felt as if it's all too real while you were there, but when you awake, it's really no more than a puff of smoke. Totally surreal. Where did it all go?
