I'm starting to think Shin is somewhat like 人形以上人間未満 (more than a doll, less than a human being). He's like a little companion, silent, contemplative, always staring into space. He's good eye candy and 'vision break' from my computer. :)

Right, I stole that wording from 友達以上恋人未満 [tomodachi ijou koibito miman]. Quite a neat way of putting things, don't you think?
