So, I didn't finish the one fic I started this year (a TAB-inspired Mystrade), but that's not surprising, considering I had forgotten all about it and only started working on it again just before Christmas. I'll work on it some more after Season 4 and if it's not canon-compliant any more after the new episodes, well, I'll just consider it an AU.
Time for the usual end of year memes!

What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before?
Attended a course in DC, visited Vienna and Bratislava, went on a short cruise on the Danube, got a side-cut.
Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I wanted to find a flat and I didn't. But I went to quite a few concerts and I'm happy about that. I'll make a list for 2017:
• find a damn flat, that's my top priority
• finish the Mystrade fic I started after TAB
• write fanfic and/or draw fanart (I hope the new Sherlock episodes will inspire me)
• read more non-fanfiction
• listen to more music and maybe go back to playing bass (and possibly piano) semi-regularly
• keep going to the gym regularly
WOW, that's a lot. Let's see how that goes.

Be less judgemental.
Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I'm very undecided, as both apply:
#1
Ich bin nicht arm, ich hab was mir gefällt
ich bin nicht neidisch auf dich oder dein Geld
Herzlich willkommen in meinem Lebenslauf
ich bin ganz ruhig, warum regst du dich denn so auf?
"Rebell", Die Ärzte
(Translation: I'm not poor, I have what I like
I'm not jealous of you or your money
Welcome to my life
I'm pretty quiet, why are you so worked up?)
#2
Du hast kein klares Ziel, aber Millionen Möglichkeiten
Ein gutes Gefühl - und du weißt, es wird gut für dich ausgehen
"Himmelblau", Die Ärzte
(Translation: You don't have a clear goal, but a million possibilities
A good feeling - and you know, things will be fine)
