Mark Gatiss is in the cast of
"Three Days in the Country" at the a National Theatre in London. If I'm lucky and tickets don't sell out too quickly, I might be able to go.
Work's the only real problem: I started working there 2 weeks ago, I'd feel really awkward asking about holidays now, even if it's just a few days in the summer of even early autumn. Luckily the play runs from the end of July to the end of October, so I may have a little time to plan things out. Though of course all the best tickets are already gone (they went on sale today WTF).
Did they have to make the announcement and start selling tickets right now? *grumbles* Yes, I could get a ticket for a Saturday performance and only stay for the weekend, but I'd much rather spend a few days in London: I haven't had proper holiday in 2 years! I think I'll just informally ask my colleagues about holiday plans and see how that goes. I really want to visit London this year and I probably would go nonetheless, but this seems like the perfect opportunity to kill the proverbial two birds with one stone. Wish me luck!
