At 47 I am 200 pounds, most of which is muscle, but certainly not all. I come from large-boned European ancestors and consider myself to be fairly healthy-looking.In the past I have tried water diets, no-breakfast diets, no-dinner diets, no-food diets. But none work! Because I don't have the willpower. There's a lot of food I don't like so I can't take diets out of magazines. Magazine diets usually involve spending money on foods that we don't keep around the house, or spending time exercising daily which I am too lazy to attempt. Men don't seem to have been put off by my non-stereotype body. I've had a fair few long-term relationships, sexual flings and offers. I must say the one thing about not being a "10" is that the guys you get with (the serious ones) are attracted by you as a person right from the start, not superficial attraction fuelled by magazine hype.
When I was in my teens I didn't know how to talk to males, so I would pack on the make-up to try and make an impression, makeup for me was also a face to hide behind. Later when I got to my early 20's I started to make male friends and talk to them as I would to a female friend.Back in the day it would take me up to one and a half hours to get ready in the morning. It now takes me less than half the time. I walked along the beach in the moonlight, looking down at my strong rounded white legs. I suddenly thought 'I like those legs. They're a bit strangely shaped and wobbly up the top and they've got me around for 47 years and dammit, I like them'.
Question my daughter asked me:-How do you get a boyfriend?
Answer: -be yourself
