Reasons to hate people
Shit just hit the fan. This is the only place I can really vent about it.
We've been in this house for almost 2 years. After his family made it so we were homeless with a sick little one that was on oxygen. We spent 6 months couch surfing at a friends because of them.... And because they wanted to move us 2 HOURS away from her emergency care and her doctors.
Well, his grandfather owns this house. And we have been helping him update it so he can legally rent it again, or he can sell it. The lawn got fried because of the heat and the drought last year. There was no helping that.... We are sitting on over an acre and didn't have/weren't given the proper resources to take care of the lawn/yard properly. We spend weeks working on it this year as soon as we are able. WEEKS. Worked with the city planner, took a xeriscape class. Had everything planned out. But had to go slow cuz of time constraints, and week by week resources. Got new trees planted, after removing the old dead ones. 2 of said trees were a Mother's Day present for me. Spent 3 days tilling the front yard, adding mulch and all the goodies a new lawn needs.... Prepared for getting rock delivered, and seeded the front yard. Thought everything was good. Even paid for a water permit.
The 6th I had surgery. I'm on 2 weeks recovery time. My toddler isn't happy about this, but she's coping. Previous to this batshitcrazy brought her pshchopherinic druggy son that's a danger to my family to the house with her and started a whole lot of drama that his grandfather apologized for. He even called on the 6th while I was in recovery to tell my partner that batshit was bringing flowers down for me.
The 7th his grandmother, who is bat-shit-fucking-crazy btw, came over brought her drunk son, proceeded to argue with her daughter, and my partner (her grandson) about the state of the yard, even went so far as to try to drag me into the fight knowing full well I had not been out of surgery 24 HOURS yet. Then proceeded to have her drunk son tear out ALL of our work, ruining the new seed that was just starting to sprout. And telling us thatourjob wasn't good enough she was having sod put in. Which is a bad idea, cuz it will die in our weather. She has been out here EVERYDAY since, after 7pm, till after sundown.... Doing piddle shit work on the yard they tore up. Disrupting things around here. Well tonight it all came to a header.
It's almost 10pm, I'm recovering from surgery still and trying to get the little one down for the night. She wants to come in, knowing full well it's late. We don't need the disruption and the drama. Which we know for a fact that she will start. He told her no. And now were being kicked out.
