Got my van back. Someone unplugged my park/neutral wires, and put them behind my brake lines. The mechanic said, this is what people do as a first step to removing the transmission.
Which means, someone was trying to remove my transmission in front of the police station!!!
Well, I hope we can catch him on surviellence. I'm out $75 because of this crap, and they should pay it back.
So, to pay for the van, I went ahead and got my money. Now all I need is to get my money tomorrow, and then post for a loan whenever that posts.
We had ourselves a Happy Yule after all.
I got David another game (still need to pay Joe back for the one he got earlier this week), and Bella a couple toys, and my friends presents. :) I feel so much better now. Now though, I need to wrap them. I'll likely do that tomorrow, as I'm very sleepy now. I need to stay up, but I'm not focused enough for anything more complicated than net surfing.
I got lots of pretties.
I got my pink cut off cardigan that I've wanted for so long.

apple ornaments, which are actually going into the kitchen. (Snow White kitchen, bit by bit)
a new table cloth....for my NEW TABLE!!! AHHHHH!!!!! :D :D :D
I've wanted this table for over 2 years now, ever since it came out. It's all wood, not college kid furniture, and so beautiful. We had a little accident with one of the screws going all the way through the wood, so I'll need to look up how to fix it...but other than that...oh wow. I'm so happy!
I was able to make David and Bella pants yesterday, and I was very happy about that.
I feel like I'm finally coming out of my funk.
I'm getting to see Rikka and Carl more.
I'm super excited to start working out again. I've really missed it these past couple weeks.
Things are looking up. :)

oh! speaking of religious matters, we've started teaching Bella about it. I learned that Yule is the birth of Kernunnos (aka the Oak king, bringer of light, etc) which makes xians putting the birth of their god over our holiday to 'convert' us even more insulting.
I'm really striving to keep my loathing for that religion out of my teaching Bella, because everyone is entitled to believe what they want, even if I disagree...but it's really hard sometimes.
Still....it's been a wonderful day.
(now, I'm a bad girl, and didn't go to work tonight due to having been up since 6am....I hope everything will be alright because of it.)
