I called my broad-band cable provider a few minutes ago to pay my bill over the phone using a credit card. The rep explained to me that I had a fifty something dollar credit balance and that I owed nothing. I explained that I was holding the bill in my hand, that the bill was for $108.08, and that it was due today. She went on to explain why I had the credit. I must say that I'm still not clear about what is going on. I verified my account information to make sure she had called up the correct account. Yep, it was indeed mine.

Have I lucked out today or what? Stuff like this just doesn't happen to me. Wow, today is a very good day.
