(no subject)
We had a very nice Thanksgiving weekend.
We left here around 5:30 or so Wednesday night. I was happy not to have to get up and drive thursday morning! Dinner was good as usual and it was great to just sit and not HAVE to do anything. We took the Cars DVD for my parents to watch, they liked it as much as i thought they would. They are race fans so they got some of the humor more than we did.
Daniel and I did end up shopping Friday. Every year he says "no way am I going in that mess" but we do anyway. We don't get up early, thats craziness, I value my sanity and life more than getting the bargain.
We did get some good deals. I bought aym some shirts from the Disney store at 40% off and Michael a Cars hockey jersey for 25% off. Then Daniel spoiled me and bought me an outfit and a new leopard print furry coat. It soooo soft and cozy. I'm sure my red fur coat would be soft too if I would remember to take it in for a cleaning! Daniel took pictures with his camera phone, if they look ok I may post them.
Speaking of posting pics;here is a link to pic of my fondant "present" cake. It was very fun to make. Oh, the black dots are centers on a white flower. The flower doesn't show up very well.
