I'm alive LOL

I failed again at keeping this updated but seriously these past 2 weeks have been bloody hectic.

So mum and Sean left for England and I took on housewife duties along with my student-duties so the 10 days they were away consisted of, excluding time spent at uni, mornings I spent shopping cleaning, putting the washing in the machine, hanging it out to dry, bringing it in when dry, ironing (usually in the afternoon), cooking and then washing plates at night time...at 2pm I'd stop and do from 2-9 studying, stopping at times to take the dogs walkies and doing washing or tea or w/e...dad pissed me off at times. He'd make the mess and not clean up, he'd see me studying and would still asks me to get up and make him a cuppa even though he'd gotten up and walked into the living room to tell me i.e. He could have taken 10 more steps into the kitchen and made it himself....By the time mum came back I was shattered -_- I spent last Wednesday cleaning all day, polishing shelves etc so I wouldn't have to do it on the Saturday before mum came back....Worth it though cos when she arrived on Sunday she was really pleased with the house :D

They enjoyed England...Sean got to meet a lot of the family, the majority of whom I've never met so...I'm feeling a little jealous lol Of course, I haven't said anything just smiled and said how nice it was for mum to finally show off (*part* of) her family lol But they had fun...the weather was crap there.....It was really hot over here *grin*

Uncle Chris; He's not as bad as they were telling us. Sure, he'll never be able to live alone again most likely, and will probably need 24hr care, but he's still the same sarcastic witty self he was when I met him years ago. And, even though they said he had memory problems, he remembered Sean no problem. He's promised mum he's gonna try harder at his physio and said " I'd best buy a suit, so I can bloody wear it when I go back to Malta to show her (my mum) that I bloody started walking again" See? Still the same Eaton humour :D Seeing him has done mum good; she has a more positive outlook on life and has stated that she's not going to hold onto the past but look forward to the future...something I've been telling her for years, but at least she's finally learnt it. She said to me today "I'm turning 50 this year, I'm gonna bloody enjoy it"...I keep forgetting how old she is...she honestly doesn't look 50, and I'm not saying it cos I'm her daughter. Especially when she cuts her hair. She still looks in her late 30s early 40s...so everytime I think, Oh she's 50...it's like a little shock lol

Now I'm going to focus on my studies and not pick up a broom! Or so I thought until yesterday I found myself ironing the clothes and then doing the dishes as soon as I got up this morning lol But now I'm off to go and study Social Psychology (3 chapters n I'm done!) And once that's done, I'll do Biological psych and then start on the other flippin' subjects! Busy Busy Bee!
