The V Festival lineup has been announced and I am so there. $98 bucks to hear The Who, Flaming Lips, Brazilian Girls and about a dozen other bands at a racetrack about five miles from my house? DUH.

Word on the street is that 60k (!) tickets go on sale Saturday. I plan on buying mine then.

$98? ouch. i can't afford that right now.

I figure it works out to less than $10/band. Besides, there's not much going on at 9:30 for the next few months and shows at the Black Cat are cheap.

I'm totally rationalizing this to myself, I know.

nah, thanks though. i really appreciate the offer. nothing is really grabbing me except for keane and the raconteurs and maybe the new pornographers a little. i'm not big on outdoor festivals.
