One of the first things you learn in international politics is that no nuclear power has ever been invaded for fear of retaliation. That makes North Korea's launches all the most frightening because it basically translates into a "fuck you" from Kim Jong Il. It also adds to my particular frustration with the Bush administration's lack of action against Iran because there's really nothing to stop them from doing the same thing in the relatively near future.
