AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
See that? That was a loud scream of frustration.
I either had some REALLY bad luck, or REALLY pissed someone off, because I had over 20 viruses on my computer. I tried to get rid of them all for 4 hours last night, but ended up having to reboot the entire system….AGAIN!!
I’ll be really glad when we can afford to get a new computer, so I can take a hammer or something to this one!!! Not that that would solve the virus problem…I’m just tired of how much I have to reboot this damn thing!!!
And it has been SOOOO hot. Our AC runs CONSTANTLY. And it never gets any cooler in here. It’s SWELTERING!
Today, I was feeling bad again. I’m not feeling SICK really, just bad. Tired and weak and sleepy and cranky. Really, really, really cranky.
I worked odd hours today. I got there at 9 and clocked out at 11:30.
Came home at 12, and immediately started washing clothes. I had 2 back logged loads to fold, and spent all of today doing the towels (we have a SHITLOAD of towels and it felt like all of them were dirty) and washcloths and dishtowels and dishcloths.
Folding clothes is almost like an exercise. Bend and fold, stand up and place in drawer. Bend and fold, stand up and place in drawer. Bend and fold, stand up and place in drawer.
Definitely makes my tummy hurt.
Today I also cleaned out my “bag” which I take to work, and pretty much EVERYWHERE I’m going to be for any extent of time. It has my writing notebooks in it, and my journal and letters that need to be answered and other such things. It also accumulates a lot of trash.
I need to wash the entire bag, and sould probably get a new bag all together, but an old friend of the family (a sweet, sweet lady with many mental, emotional, and physical problems) made my bag for me. She colored a carousel horse on it, and wrote “HAPPY THOUGHTS!” on the other side. I’m afraid if I wash it all of the color will wash out because I don’t know what kind of marker she used.
Eh…well…I’ll have to wash it and see one day, wont I?
THE FAT FAIRY SECTION
Okay, so its NOT weigh in day, so I’m not going to weigh in, but I WILL say that today I tried on a pair of shorts that haven’t fit me in YEARS, and……I COULD BUTTON THEM UP!!!
They still don’t fit me. They are way to tight. BUT…a week ago I couldn’t get the button and the button hole anywhere near each other, and today I could button them!!!
Noner is making progress!
And that was inspiration I needed too. I was so close to breaking down and eting a bowl of ice cream, even though I had already reached my calorie allotment for today, AND its not my “bad” day. And…the shorts buttoned, proving I’m not doing this all in vain and I was able to resist the call of vanilla with chocolate syrup for one more day.
